Jovani CEO, Saul Maslavi, shared his insight into the brand’s universal appeal, stating, “The unique thing about JOVANI is that it’s favored by the masses but there’s always some allure to the brand. It’s not about the logo, it’s not about the price point, it’s about giving everyone that glamorous moment. And we know this fashion show is giving a first-hand look into why everyone loves JOVANI.”

Founded in 1983 by Jacob Maslavi, Jovani is more than a brand; it’s a legacy of design, passion, and empowerment. Jacob’s vision, a commitment to excellence, and a love for celebrating women’s individuality have been the cornerstone of the brand’s success.

Today, the torchbearer of this legacy is Saul and Abraham Maslavi, Jacob’s sons, who continue to steer the brand towards greater heights. Their dedication to upholding their father’s vision is evident in every stitch and silhouette.*

Over four decades, Jovani has become a beacon of style, embraced by celebrities, adored by reality TV stars, and trusted by pageant queens. Breakout songs have even been composed in homage to the brand. From proms to weddings, from red carpets to unforgettable moments, Jovani has been there, crafting dresses that transcend fashion, becoming cherished heirlooms in the process.*

As Jovani’s Design Director, Julie DuRocher aptly puts it, “We don’t make dresses for one type of woman, we make them for every woman.”

Here’s to 40 years of Jovani – a journey of elegance, empowerment, and endless inspiration. As the brand debuts its ready-to-wear and couture lines on the illustrious NYFW stage, it’s evident that the next chapter of Jovani’s legacy promises to be even more dazzling and unforgettable.
